The Ministry of Finance and BGI Consulting presented the results of the Evaluation of the impact of the EU structural funds on the GDP of Lithuania in the Evaluation Network Meeting organised by the European Commission DG Regional Policy

The Ministry of Finance and the expert of BGI Consulting Jonas Jatkauskas presented the Evaluation of the impact of the EU structural funds on the GDP of Lithuania during the Evaluation Network Meeting organised by DG Regional Policy. The evaluation was based on macro-model HERLIT (HERMIN economic modelling technique) which was developed in cooperation with dr. John Bradley (EMDS). The aims, methods and main results (the impact of the EU structural funds on the sectors of the economy and main macroeconomic indicators) of the evaluation were presented and the recommendations for the period 2007-2013 were introduced.
