The results of the Evaluation of the Cross-border Co-operation Programme Lithuania-Poland were presented

BGI Consulting completed the first part of the Evaluation of the Cross-border Co-operation Programme Lithuania-Poland. The thematic evaluation covered two main objectives:

• The evaluation of information and communication activities. The aim of this part of the evaluation was to evaluate the efficiency, relevance and effectiveness of the information activities of the Programme. The efficiency of the different information measures and the whole portfolio of measures, relevance for the applicants and beneficiaries were assessed. The awareness of the Programme among the potential applicants was assessed as well.
• The evaluation of the Small project fund efficiency. The analysis encompassed the evaluation of the objectives and achievements of the fund, the analysis of advantages and disadvantages of such management mechanism and suggestion of possible alternative scenarios of the management mechanism.

 The results of the evaluation were published in the evaluation reports and were presented for Joint Monitoring and Steering Committee on 14 th June, 2011.
