BGI Consulting via a consortium of t33, OIR and Spatial Foresight participates in the Ex-post evaluation of Cohesion Policy 2007-2013: Data collection and Quality Assessment (Work Package 0) that is commissioned by the DG for Regional and Urban Policy.
BGI Consulting experts are responsible for the evaluation activities in Lithuania. The objective of the evaluation is to collect and assess the quality of the physical and financial data reported by Managing Authorities in their Annual Implementation Reports in 2012 and 2013 and improve the quality and reliability of data.
The overall objective of the evaluation is to increase transparency on Cohesion Policy achievements and prepare for the 2014-2020 programming period. The results of the evaluation may become an input to the other ex-post evaluations of 2007-2013 Cohesion Policy programmes.
Product and result indicators and financial data provided in Annual Implementation Reports of Lithuania‘s Operational Programmes financed by the ERDF and CF are analysed in depth. Methods for collecting and calculating indicators and financial data and quality assurance procedures applied by the institutions of the structural funds management system were identified.
