BGI Consulting experts conducted a training course on Cost and Benefit Analysis for officials of National Audit Office of Lithuania

On 25-26 November 2016 BGI Consulting, in cooperation with partners from CSIL Milano (Italy), organised a training course “Cost and Benefit Analysis: Theoretical and Practical Aspects” for officials of National Audit Office of Lithuania responsible for audit of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). The objective of 16 academic hour long training course was to present the method of cost and benefit analysis (CBA), including both its theoretical parameters, and possibilities and examples of its practical application. Participants of the training course were introduced to the main stages of the CBA, such as financial analysis, economic analysis and risk analysis. Greater focus was placed on economic analysis during CBA of investment projects in Lithuania. In particular, typical projects, cost and benefit components, as well as their values, calculation methodology and examples of their practical application, were presented. The lecturers of the training course included Chiara Pancotti, expert from CSIL Milano, as well as Jonas Jatkauskas and Tomas Mačiekus, experts from BGI Consulting.
